Anthony J Bennett will celebrate entering his 55th year with readings, at Caffiends on Marsh Street Armidale, from the long awaited collection beyond the gorilla's roar.
The title poem explores the historical and innate futility of war, other poems such as ' A Middling Man Ponders A Missed Opportunity' tackle personal and social concerns with humour.

Kaye Mill will read from her newest collection of poems, A Practised Escapologist. After many years as a teacher and/or librarian in Australia, England, Canada and Alaska, Kaye now devotes her time to writing, drawing and societal activism. Her poems have appeared in many anthologies and her last book, Between the Pillow and the Road was critically well received.
