This book written by Jean Ensbey, a long term resident of the Wooli community, is a recount of many of the aspects of the Ensbey Familty life in Wooli since the 1940's. It touches on family business enterprises, work and family life during the past 60 years, with a heavy emphais on the author's involvement in community life. Covering diverse topics such as family businesses, involvement with volunteer organisations such as the Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA), sporting and recreation community based activities and organisations, local industries - in particular freight and haulage and the fishing industry, and lifestyle changes, the book is an eclectic recollection of events and antecedotes. This body of work does much to preserve some of the historical aspects of the Wooli community that has not been docmented, either orally, or in writing, until this time.
