Julian Croft was born in Merewether, Newcastle, New South Wales in 1941 and has been publishing poetry for over forty years. He has worked in documentary film, and as an academic in Australia and West Africa. He recently retired from the position of Professor of English and Communication Studies at the University of New England, Armidale. He lives in Armidale and is currently working on another novel, an acadmeic study of Australian documentary film-maker Ron Maslyn-Williams, and still writing poetry. |
